Just a quick update for everyone, we are on our way to make our showreel.

we have a long day ahead, first stop is edting shop then on to the studio.

we had a writing session yesterday and we are really excited about the song we came up with, so watch this space.!!!!!

We are ENVY, a trio pop girlband. We joined up to VOX yesterday to help push our music to some of the record labels on here and hopefully get some good feedback too from fellow Voxers too!

Although we are mainly on here to grab the attention of the labels we welcome anybody on here to listen and look and feedback your thought and ideas!

Hi everyone

Hope you are all doing good!

Thanks to those of you who have left your positive comments and messages, we're really loving the feedback.

Could I take this opportunity to remind fellow members that we are only a couple of days old on VOX so please bear with us! We recognise we may have joined up to a group which is irrelevant to us, or posted more that once in a group in the same week - be assured, we'll be reading up on those guidelines over the weekend!!

Good morning!

Well we're so glas we joined up to Vox, we've already had a few comments and messages! Keep them coming, we love hearing what you have to say!

Tomorrow we are getting together for a three-day studio session in Bristol. We are going to continue working on some of the songs we have written, some of the lyrics need a bit of work and we are also going to lay down vocals to some of our new tracks which we've finished writing.

We've also got a gig tomorrow night at 9pm down in Brighton at the Honey Club. It's in aid of the SNAP campaign helping under 16's to get out and enjoy nightlife and watch live music without the crime and the drugs which they are exposed to more and more today. Here's a snippet from their website:

"SNAP (Say No And Phone) club nights give you the chance to see live performances, go to nightclubs and more! If you're aged 11 - 16 you can come along to the Club Nights. The Club Nights include DJs playing the latest sounds and bands performing live on stage. SNAP is about proving that you don't need drugs to get a high out of life!"

What have you changed your mind about?

We have often changed our minds about lyrics in songs we have aalready recorded - so we go back to the studio to re-do them, we add in harmonies and adlibs, take them out again, alter them. It's all part of the process to making the song a finished product. It's hard for a song to ever be finished sometimes!

I have signed us up to VOX.com by recommendation of an industry insider at Sony/BMG to help us be noticed by the labels who participate on here. Our main aim is to sign a great deal with an excellent label - as is every aspiring artists' aim too!
